A vision for Carrol Creek

Maxwell Place and South Market Center are infill projects located in the heart of The City of Frederick along the Carroll Creek Promenade.  These two projects were the first privately funded sites along Carroll Creek intended to bring economic vitality and solve the long standing flooding problems in this historic section of the city.  A visionary project, the Carroll Creek Promenade has brought regional and national attention to Frederick as a great place to live, work, play and visit.

Key issues during the project development included streetscape elements, utilities, pedestrian circulation, and public space design.  Services included planning, landscape architecture, engineering, and regulatory approvals.
